How it works

From your archive to an answer you can check

You choose which documents go in. Your people ask in plain English and receive answers drawn from your own material, with the passages behind them attached. This page explains what happens in between.

What happens when someone asks a question

PDFs, Word files, scanned paper, drawings and embedded graphics are read into your own installation.

You receive the answer and the passages behind it, side by side, with what the archive could not support.

Reading the archive

Including the parts most systems skip

Much of what matters in a technical archive is not in the prose. It is in a chart, a table image, a scanned page or a drawing — and a conclusion that rests on a number nobody can retrieve is no better than a conclusion nobody can check.

RUNA uses its own extraction process to read that material as well as the text around it, so the figures inside graphics and tables are available to an answer rather than invisible to it. In our own testing, two of the decisive numbers in a twelve-page review appeared nowhere except in a chart and a table image.

Keeping it current

An archive that stays yours

You choose what goes in

Nothing is collected from your systems on its own initiative, and nothing is added without you.

Adding and replacing

Documents can be added at any time and replaced when a newer approved version exists.

Removing permanently

A deleted document is removed from the live system and the index immediately and can no longer appear in any answer.

Where it all runs

In your own installation, on hardware we operate in a Swiss high-security facility. The security page sets out who can reach it and what we never do with it.
